White Chocolate Peppermint Granola

A delicious treat from Kathryn at Tasty Treats. (note: Converted from metric measurements.)

Ingredients

  • 2 C Athlete Fuel Muesli
  • ¼ C peppermint candy pieces
  •  C white chocolate chips
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ C brown sugar
  • ¼ C water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F

  2. In a small saucepan, bring water, sugar, and oil to a gentle boil.

  3. Remove from heat and stir in white chocolate chips until melted.

  4. In a large mixing bowl, pour the melted chocolate mixture over the Athlete Fuel muesli.

  5. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the mixture evenly over the baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until mixture is beginning to brown.

  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle peppermint evenly over top.

  8. Let cool and enjoy your holiday treat.
